Nissan LEAF Makes U.S. Appearance Beginning With Los Angeles Nov. 13

Nissan North America announced that the Nissan LEAF zero-emission, all-electric car will make its North American debut in Los Angeles on Nov. 13. The Los Angeles showing will be the first time people in the United States will be able to see the five-passenger, five-door, gasoline-free car, which is embarking on a nationwide tour. Other Nissan LEAF appearance dates and city locations are included.

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. unveiled Nissan LEAF on August 2, 2009 the world’s first affordable, zero-emission car. Designed specifically for a lithium-ion battery-powered chassis, Nissan LEAF is a medium-size hatchback that comfortably seats five adults and has a range of more than 160km (100 miles) to satisfy real-world consumer requirements.
